This book got five stars from me for several different reasons.1.) The writting is so unique and complex I really needed to read carefully to fully understand what's going on. Sometimes I don't like books written like that, but for this one it was really an advantage.2.) Alex's thoughts were complex as mine. She is constantly analysing everything and so do I. Which is why it wasn't hard for me to put myself in her shoes.3.) Ilsa J. Bick didn't throw all the answers to your face - no, you had to think what's going on. You had to think with Alex and make the assumptions.4.) I don't really like zombie books, but this time, it worked for me really well.5.) Special powers - hurray :)6.) All bizzare things and this amish-rule-place that freaks you out - *thumbs up*And that's why I loved it and I recommend it to you.
